Crystal Marlay was born May 28, 1985, in Springfield to Matthew & Jeanette Marlay.
She was a graduate of Willard High School where she was active in the marching band as a flutist. She was a proud mom to her five children and loved the time she spent with them, especially time spent doing outdoor activities. She enjoyed baking cookies, drawing, and caring for her dog Piper. Crystal loved time hanging out with the children, shopping, and pampering herself. She took pride in her waitressing jobs and had just started at Cheddar’s in Branson as a server.
Crystal passed away on September 7, 2022 in Branson at the age of 37.
She is survived by her children, Corey Marlay and his fiancé Mariah, Skyler Montgomery, Eden Marlay, Annabella Dodd and Avaya Marlay; her mother, Jeanette Marlay; sister Stacey Marlay; granddaughter, RiverLynne along with many friends and extended family.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
A celebration of Crystal’s life will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 1-3 PM at Regalo Orchard and Event Venue, 3934 N. State Hwy H, Springfield, MO 65803.
