Carl Gene Moore, age 76, passed away September 10, 2025.
Carl Gene Moore, age 76, of Verona, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Solace House of the Ozarks in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born April 28, 1949 in Wheaton, Missouri the son of Roy and Louise (Wormington) Moore. On September 5, 1969 in Purdy, Missouri he was united in marriage to Julia Edwards, who survives. Also surviving are sons, Carl Moore and wife Angela of Purdy, Missouri and Chris Moore of Purdy, Missouri; daughters, Tina Warren and husband Chris of Purdy, Missouri and Ramona Moore of Purdy, Missouri and six grandchildren, Ethan, Leanna, Evan, Paisley, Gracie, and Christy.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Sammy Moore.
Carl attended school in Purdy, Missouri and graduated from Purdy High School. He drove a bus for the Cassville school system for 30 years, from where he retired. Carl also raised beef cattle and operated a dairy. He enjoyed attending rodeos, fairs, and farm auctions in his spare time. Carl’s absence will be felt by everyone who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 15, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jerry Nickle will conduct the services. Burial will be at Purdy Cemetery in Purdy, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
