Bonnie Eloise Stockton, age 91, of Aurora, Missouri
Bonnie Eloise Stockton, age 91, of Aurora, Missouri passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at Magnolia Square Nursing and Rehabilitation in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born December 17, 1931 in Cordell, Oklahoma the daughter of Paul and Nancy (Beason) Chapman. On November 6, 1946 in Columbus, Kansas she was united in marriage to Lavern Eugene Stockton, who preceded her in death on August 15, 1996. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, James Chapman and one sister, Clara Daniels.
Surviving are three sons, Leroy Stockton and his wife Donna of Seligman, Missouri, Ronald Steven Stockton and his wife Sue of Jenkins, Missouri and Jack Stockton and his wife Laura of Cassville, Missouri; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bonnie was a homemaker which she enjoyed. Some of her favorite pastimes were sewing and quilting. She loved being outside working in her garden and tending her flowers. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 17, 2023 at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, Missouri. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Thursday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Bonnie.
