Bettilou Iris “Betty” Sharp, age 89, of Cassville, Missouri

Bettilou Iris “Betty” Sharp, age 89, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Missouri.

            She was born July 19, 1933 in Lynden, Washington the daughter of Arthur and Helen (Leake) Ewing. On April 27, 1951 in Las Vegas, Nevada she was united in marriage to Jack Ballard, who preceded her in death on February 7, 1987. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a grandaughter, Regina.

            Surviving are one son, Robin Ballard of Jay, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jackie Sharp of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; one brother, George Ewing of North Dakota; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

            Betty attended school in Taft, California graduating from Taft Union High School. She had worked as a bartender, at a shirt factory, in the oil fields in all positions and at several restaurants in all capacities of the business. She enjoyed riding horses and loved all animals

            Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
