Barbara Ann Pape, age 67, of Hollister, Missouri
Barbara Ann Pape, age 67, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away April 13, 2022, in Branson, Missouri. She entered this life in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the daughter of William and Marylou (Corley) Pape. Preceding her in death are her parents and a sister, Sandy Franchi.
With a giving and caring heart, Barbara was a champion and caregiver for both people, pets, and treated them as her own family. She worked as a certified nurses assistant and then at the animal shelter in later years. Barbara loved deeply and never met a stranger. She loved her cats, Trip and Socks, who she rescued from the shelter. Her love and caring will be remembered and missed by those she knew.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Angie (Bill) Ford of Hollister, Missouri; three grandchildren: Marys Ford of Springfield, Missouri, Madison Ford of Hollister, Missouri, and Gage (Sarah) Ford of Hollister, Missouri; great grandson, Bentlee Jay; sister, Judy Pape of Leander, Texas; brother, Gary (Kathy) Pape of Austin, Texas; brother-in-law, Wayne Franchi of Georgetown, Texas; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
