Audrey Sue Dennis, age 59, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri
Audrey Sue Dennis, age 59, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away March 13, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri. She entered this life June 16, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Dean and Geraldine (Wood) Duett. She was joined in marriage February 14, 1995, to David D. Dennis.
Audrey was a compassionate person, working as a counselor and therapist, helping others through tough times. She was a wonderful wife and mother who will be greatly missed.
Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Christy Duett; and a son, Robert Morris.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, David D. Dennis; son, John A. Morris of Republic, Missouri; and two daughters: Carrie Morris of Springfield, Missouri, and Dena McCarty of Cape Fair, Missouri.
A celebration of life will be 5:30 p.m. March 19, 2022, at the Aurora Community Center, 40 W. Church St, Aurora, Missouri, with Bryan Cook officiating.
