The City of Harrison makes a special presentation.
At the end of Thursday’s Harrison City Council Meeting, Mayor Jerry Jackson makes an award presentation to Demarcus Cousins, known as the YouTuber JiDion, for a video he made showing the city in a positive light when it comes to diversity at a time when race relations were strained in many parts of the country.
During the presentation, Jackson talked about the video that Cousin's and his group had produced and how it helped show Harrison in a positive light. Cousins said in accepting the award that his observations when he made the video in 2022 were completely different than he anticipated.
The award presented by Jackson honored him as an "Ambassador of Peace" for Harrison.
