An incident earlier this month has two men facing charges in Marion County.
According to court documents, 35-year-old Garay Lauro Alberto Gomez and 27-year-old Chipper Wade Statum, both of Yellville, are facing felony charges for the incident.
According to probable cause affidavits, on June 6, Statum had assaulted Gomez after which Gomez fought back using a crowbar. Gomez also broke into a house as he was fighting back causing damage to that property.
Both men posted bond and have appearances in Marion County Circuit Court scheduled for later this summer.
