A Marion County man that has past run-ins with the law is facing more charges.

A Marion County man has been arrested for hitting another person with a bat at a business in Flippin. Twenty-five-year-old Chipper Wade Statum of Yellville is being held in the Marion County Detention Center.
According to the probable cause affidavit from the Flippin Police Department, officers were called to the Casey’s store last Friday morning shortly after 4:30 for a report of a physical domestic dispute.
When they arrived, the discovered Statum had hit the victim in the head with a wooden bat. The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Statum is facing a felony charge of aggravated assault and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
