A woman has been arrested after allegedly threatening to use members of the Ku Klux Klan to kill her neighbor.
61-year-old Deborah Sue Parker of Jasper was booked into the Newton County Jail Friday afternoon on a felony charge of terroristic threatening.
According to the probable cause affidavit in the case, the neighbor alleges Parker stood in her yard, which is adjacent to his property, and threatened to have him killed most of the day June 10. He says Parker said she would make him pay and knew people in the KKK that would kill him.
Bond for Parker is set at $5,000.
