An area member of the U.S. House of Representatives announces his intention to seek reelection.
In a Facebook post this week, Republican Steve Womack announced his will run for reelection as the Arkansas 3rd District Representative.
In the post, Womack says combating the current administration’s far-left agenda, supporting the military, and serving constituents will be his priorities.
Womack’s District covers several counties in northwest Arkansas including Carroll and Madison. The district at one time included other areas including Harrison, but the 2021 redistricting moved Boone County out of the 3rd District.
