Health Officials are continuing to monitor the record number of Whooping Cough cases around the state.
Ozarks First reports that the Arkansas Department of Health says 489 cases of the disease have been reported since December 2. ADH days this is the most reported cases in the state since 2013.
Some of the symptoms of Whooping Cough include mild fever, sneezing, occasional cough that worsens over time, and exhaustion after coughing fits.
