An organization to help Veterans with housing and other resources holds a ribbon cutting.
The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce held the ribbon cutting for Warriors Retreat located on Highway 206. The organization is creating a place where veterans can find safe, supportive housing and a renewed sense of community according to the chamber release.
The organization is developing a community for housing for veterans that need help in addition to support including mental health services. Executive Director Elizabeth Hobson said Warriors Retreat purpose was to give veterans a sense of community in addition to housing.
