FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Walmart is recalling over 12,000 cartons of Great Value Family Size Chicken Broth due to packaging issues that could lead to spoilage, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The recall, initiated on Dec. 11 and announced on the FDA’s website on Jan. 8, affects products sold in 242 stores across nine states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.
The recalled cartons are marked with a “best used by” date of March 25, 2026, and carry the UPC code 007874206684. A total of 2,023 cases, each containing six cartons, are included in the recall.
