Several events in the area in conjunction with Veterans Day.
Veterans Day is also the conclusion of the Veterans Homecoming Week in the Branson Area. The final day includes the annual Veterans Day Sunrise Service will take place at College of the Ozarks at 7:00 am with the Annual Veterans Day Parade through the downtown area beginning at 11:00 am.
Mike Kremper of Branson Veterans of America 913 coordinates the parade, and during recent visits on several Ozarks Dynacom Morning Shows said the 92nd edition of the event will include 73 participants in the event which will stage at the Convention Center Parking Lot and go north on Branson Landing Blvd then back south on Commercial Street. Kremper says several streets around the parade route will be closed Monday morning in advance of the parade. Live coverage of the parade will be heard on Legends 106.3.
Meanwhile, several events are also scheduled for Harrison today including the Veterans Day Flag Display at the Harrison Square at 7:00 am followed by a ceremony at Creekside Community Center at 11:00 am and the Veterans Day Parade at 5:00 pm which will begin at the Creekside Parking Lot.
