The Diamond City Veterans Village is a project coming to Diamond City; it will provide no cost or low-cost housing for veterans.
Sam Olcott, Diamond City Mayor Jamie Nuessner and Troy Burleson joined KHOZ’s Around The Table on Tuesday to talk about the new and upcoming Diamond City Veterans Village. Olcott is himself a veteran. Nuessner described it as transitional housing for “veterans in need, veterans that want to help themselves, veterans that want to get back into the working world.” The project has three phases and will start with 22 500 square foot tiny homes for its first phase. Donations are being accepted for the project at dcveteransvillage.com.
