No injuries are reported from a pair of fires worked by the Valley Springs Fire Department.
The first fire occurred at approximately 11:30 Friday night, the Valley Springs Fire Department responded to Everton to battle a mobile home fire. Firefighters from Harrison, Western Grove, and Pyatt assisted on the scene of the fire that was quickly extinguish according to the release from the department.
The second fire occurred around 5:15 Saturday morning as two Valley Springs units responded to a mutual aid call from Western Grove for a mobile home fire in Piercetown. Several Newton County units responded to the scene and extinguished the blaze.
