Dan Dillard from Boone County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition talked Tuesday about upcoming activities and events.
While it's a slow time of year for the coalition, Dillard acknowledged on KHOZ's "Around " that "substance abuse doesn't take a break." A candlelight vigil will be held across the creek from the town square. It will be on International Overdose Awareness Day. It memorializes the victims of overdose and draws attention to the issue. He also discussed engaging the youth coalitions and more.
The full interview with Dillard is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
