In memory of Jonesboro Police Officer Vincent Parks
Governor Asa Hutchinson has ordered the United States flag and the state flag of Arkansas to be lowered to half-staff in tribute to the memory of Patrolman Vincent Parks of the Jonesboro Police Department.
Officer Parks passed away on July 17, 2022, while serving in the line of duty at the Central Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock.
In honor of Officer Parks for his bravery and service to his community, and as an expression of public sorrow, flags will fly at half-staff until the day of interment on July 22, 2022.
