Two people from Berryville are dead after a three vehicle crash in Carroll County Thursday afternoon.
According to the report filed by the Arkansas State Police, a pick-up truck driven by 36-year-old Matthew Porter was passing another pick-up along the east ditch line of Highway 21. As Porter's pick-up tried to reenter the roadway, it clipped the other pickup causing Porters' vehicle to spin into the other lane where it collided with a Freightliner truck.
Porter and a passenger in his truck, 49-year-old Carrianne Henry, died in the collision. No one in the other two vehicles were reported as injured.
366 people have now been killed in traffic crashes reported to the Arkansas State Police in 2024.
