Two sales taxes in Harrison that were originally passed in 2002 will be up for renewal at the ballot box next year.
At Thursday’s Harrison City Council Meeting, ordinances were passed that would continue the one quarter of one percent Sales Tax for the General Fund and the one half of one percent Sales Tax for Infrastructure. Those taxes have been renewed several times over the years with the last renewal set to expire on December 31 of 2026.
These two items will appear on the ballot in Harrison during the Primary Election next year on March 3rd.
