The Harrison City Council held a special meeting last week to consider two items that needed action prior to this week’s regular meeting.
According to a release from the city, the meeting was to get the approval of a contract with Ritter Communications to provide the necessary fiber and bandwidth infrastructure to ensure sufficient upload and download speeds for Creekside Community Center E-Sports lab and provide sufficient time for the company to install the fiber before the grand opening.
The other item was for a bid waiver resolution forwarded to Council from committee earlier in the month for paving services t Creekside and at Rose Hill Cemetery. With the approval, City Engineer Wade Phillips indicated that the company is getting paving underway on those projects.
