A car vs. pedestrian accident south of Hollister on Thursday involves two people from Arkansas.
According to the online report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Highway 65 when a 49-year-old man from Texarkana ran across the highway and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old man from Omaha.
The man escaped with only minor injuries and was taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in for treatment.
The driver was not injured with only minor damage to his vehicle according to the report.
