The Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its big summertime event which is also one of their biggest events of the year.
The Fireburst Independence Day Fireworks celebration is set for Friday July 1st in the Kimberling City area around Table Rock Lake. Table Rock Chamber President and C.E.O. Sheila Thomas, during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, says the annual celebration draws thousands of people to view the demonstration either from land or on the water. The fireworks will begin around 9:15 and will be followed later in the evening by a fireworks display put on by Lakeside Resort from their location off of DD Highway near Branson West.
Thomas says the chamber schedules their event to not conflict with many other events around the lake and in Stone County including celebrations later in the weekend in Galena, and Shell Knob as well as fireworks from both Big Cedar Lodge and on Chateau on the Lake.
