A two-vehicle collision on Highway 7 near Kirk Mountain in northern Boone County results in one fatality and one injury.
According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred Wednesday evening just before 7:00 when a motorcycle driven by 24-year-old Dalton Stanford of Harrison crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Peggy Barnes of Lead Hill.
Stanford died in the crash while Barnes was taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash according to the ASP Report.
