The annual South Central Missouri Fellowship of Christian Athletes Banquet is Thursday.
The keynote speaker for this year's event in Summer and Winter Olympic Athlete Lolo Jones. Area Director for FCA Brian Mitchell, during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, says that over 400 people are expected to be in attendance for the annual event but tickets do still remain available at several different levels of support. Mitchell says people can check out the FCA Website and Social Media Pages for contact information.
Mitchell says that the event not only acts as a fundraiser for the organization that works with athletes and coaches in school districts in 11 area counties, it is also an opportunity to celebrate the area Male and Female Athletes of the Year as well as the Coach of the Year.
