The Lion's Cub and other clubs offer a Day of Service on Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to Wilson Marseilles.
It's the group's way of supporting first responders. Marseilles appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss it. "And those first responders spend 365 days serving us. Maybe for at least a lunch hour, we can help serve them." This event will happen in partnership with Rotary and Kiwanis.
The groups will cook burgers and hotdogs at Harrison City Hall. Marseilles expressed excitement about the joint effort. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Marseilles is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
