Autumn officially arrived on Sunday morning with a front bringing some needed rain over the weekend as the seasons changed.
While not all areas saw rainfall, some portions of the Lakes Region did see some brief downpours, including in the Branson area late Saturday and Sunday afternoons. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for a time in parts of Christian and Stone Counties with the National Weather Service reporting some trees being uprooted and large hail in the Clever area.
Rain will linger in the region today with some areas possibly receiving an inch of rain or more, especially around and east of Highway 65. Rain will move out of the area on Tuesday with highs primarily in the 70s. More rain is in the forecast for later this week.
