The Boone County Master Gardeners are hosting an event on June 8.
Jean Newland and Cori Hopingardner from the Boone County Master Gardeners appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss the event and more. It's their fourth annual plant sale and downtown square tour. The sale starts at 9 a.m. and runs until 12 p.m. Employees will stand at the garden beds and answer questions.
Another goal is to get votes for the respective flower beds. The two also talked about tips to keep plants healthy and classes. They have a flower arrangement class scheduled for June 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the Boone County Library.
Early arrival is recommended. More information is on the organization's Facebook Page. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Hopingardner and Newland is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
