After a weekend that saw several areas break record highs with temperatures in the 90s, the Lakes Region will see a return to normal conditions for the next couple of days.
The National Weather Service says highs will be 60s and lows in the 40s today and Tuesday which is close to normal for this time in March. There is a slight chance of rain on Tuesday.
The temperature will swing up later in the week with more record highs possible, especially Thursday before another system brings rain chances in late in the week.
A dry airmass in place around the Ozarks again has officials discouraging outdoor burning except for experienced fire personnel.
