Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has issued an Executive Order extending the deadline for individuals that were making State Tax Payments between May 24 and October 31.
In the proclamation issued Monday, Sanders has extend the 2023 income tax filing date and income tax payment date for those that were scheduled to do so during this period until November 1. The extension goes to those impacted by the storms which includes residents and businesses in Baxter, Boone, Carroll, Madison, and Marion counties.
The proclamation is a follow-up to one issued at the end of May to allow those facing state income tax deadlines time to get assistance from the storms and not have the additional burden of meeting the tax deadline.
The full proclamation can be found of the Governor's Website.
