Just over 26% of the voters in Taney County went to the polls during Tuesday's Missouri Primary Election.
Two County Offices will see new occupants next year. Davy Wilson knocked off incumbent Susan Chapman in the Assessor's Race with Wilson getting over two-thirds of the votes in the race.
Meanwhile Shane Keys has been tabbed to be the next Taney County Eastern District Commissioner, winning a seven-person race to replace the retiring Shelia Wyatt.
Neither Wilson or Keys will face Democratic Opposition in the November General Election.
Meanwhile, the Republican Nomination for the 156th House Seat goes to incumbent Brian Seitz who defeated challenger Carolyn Boss in the primary and now will face a general election challenge from Democratic Candidate Janis Beacham in November.
One community had a ballot question with voters in Rockaway Beach defeating a Use Tax Proposal 99-60.
