9:00 Update: Christian County Sheriff Brad Cole has confirmed to Ozarks First that Gabriel Ramirez was the deputy shot and killed in the incident while the Stone County Sheriff's Office reports the suspect's vehicle has been located as the manhunt continues.

Multiple media stories plus information released by both the Christian and Stone County Sheriffs Departments indicate that the man pictured with this story is to be considered armed and dangerous.
The shooting took place near the intersection of Highway 160/13 and HH Highway around 4:00 pm. The MSHP Alert says the vehicle they are searching for is a white 2001 Chevy extended cab truck with a Missouri license plate of 9MGX36i.
Anyone seeing the vehicle or the suspect are asked to contact Law Enforcement through 9-1-1 Immediately. People are advised not to approach the vehicle or the suspect.
