
A man is in custody for the robbery of a liquor store on Friday.

Sheriff Roy Martin of the Boone County Sheriff's Department reports that a burglary was reported this morning at approximately 7:30 AM at the Blue Water Liquor store located on Highway 65 South.
Deputies responded promptly and initiated an investigation. Through their efforts, officers identified 34-year-old Dustin Dillon of Western Grove as the person of interest in the case. Dillon, a former employee of the business, was located at his residence and confessed to the crime during questioning.
Dillon was taken into custody and charged with commercial burglary and other related offenses. He is currently being held at the Boone County Jail with a $10,000.00 bond.
