Among the decisions for Stone County Voters in Tuesday's Primary Election was the selection of the first ever Stone County Ambulance District Board.
After voters passed a ballot issue in April establishing the district, putting a board in place was the next step. The unofficial results have the following individuals sitting on the newly formed board:
District 1: Sam Woodall
District 2: Corey Eutsler
District 3: Chris Daugherty
District 4: Jerry Jenkins
District 5: Scott Weekley
District 6: Linda Slaughter (Margin of victory only 10 votes over Rod Kumke)
In other contested Republican Primairy Races, three incumbents facing challengers all won their races. For County Commission, it was Wayne Blades in the Northern District, Hank Smythe in the Southern District. Sheriff Doug Rader also won reelection for another term. None of the three candidates will face Democratic Opposition in November.
