The week starts with a few showers in the area. While most of the rain will stay northwest of the Lakes Region, a few stray showers could impact some areas this morning.
While some areas got some rain last Friday, the overall trend of dry weather over the last two weeks continues into this week with another round of rain not expected until late Friday night into early Saturday morning. Temperatures will remain warm with above normal highs in the 80s through the week.

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. — College of the Ozarks is continuing the annual tradition of collecting boxes for Operation Christmas Child by hosting a drop-off for the community from Nov. 17 - 24. Members of the local community can bring their packed shoe boxes to College of the Ozarks and drop them off in the Christian Ministries Building.
