Unhealthy relationships don't come without signs.
Rebecca Dotson from Ozark Rape Crisis Center appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Tuesday to discuss some of those relationship red flags and more.
Dotson highlighted the following red flags:
- Emotional, mental and physical abuse - Emotional abuse involves controlling someone's thoughts and sense of self-worth.
- Isolation
- Gaslighting - It's an attempt to make someone feel crazy.
- Jealousy - Jealousy can come in different forms - family, friends, etc.
- Threatening behavior and threatening words - "If you don't do what I say," for example
