A shooting incident at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home has been ruled a suicide.
According to the incident report from the Mountain Home Police Department posted by KTLO, a woman from Yellville was walking around the area of the ambulance entrance to the hospital early Monday morning when two security guards approached her at which time she pulled out a gun and shot herself.
The report goes on to say that the woman had a note in her pocket and also had notes in her vehicles addressed to family members.
In a release by Baxter Health also posted by KTLO, the hospital expressed their condolences to the family members and also reminded people that if they or someone they know is having a mental health crisis, they can call or text 988 for support 24/7.
