Several Area Companies Awarded Broadband Grants from Arkansas Rural Connect

Several area companies have been awarded broadband grants from Arkansas Rural Connect (ARC), a program designed to expand the footprint of broadband in Arkansas.

Among the companies in the region getting grant awards as listed by the Arkansas Department of Commerce Website:

NATCO of Boone County for $2,923,361 
Berryville of Carroll County for $207,121

Round 2A
NATCO of Marion County for $1,100,000

Round 2B
Madison County Telco of Aurora for $1,794,386
Madison County Telco of Kingston for $2,944,836
Windstream of Carroll County for $4,867,453 
Windstream of Searcy County for $6,383,106

The ARC program provides funding to assist in the deployment or improvement of broadband infrastructure into unserved or improvement to underserved communities.
