The final round of debates with candidates for the upcoming Primary Election takes place Thursday on KHOZ’s “Around the Table” program.

The Thursday debates led off with the candidates for Boone County Sheriff discussing the issues. Mark Foresee and Tim Roberson answered questions on several law enforcement issues including the operation and staffing of the Boone County Detention Center and their priorities if they should be elected.

The second debate featured candidates for the Arkansas State House District 5. Truman Copeland, Mike Bishop, Jeff Pratt, John Burnside, and Kyle Evatt. The candidates discussed priorities for the district and what they would look to accomplish if elected to represent the district in Little Rock.
The complete audio will be posted from both Tuesday's and Thursday's debate later. Early voting in the March Primary Election begins next Tuesday.
