A Searcy County man has been arrested for threatening to kill his ex-wife and burn down her house, attacking a deputy and threatening to kill employees at the Searcy County Jail.
According to court documents, 64-year-old Christopher Lee Treat of Marshall is facing five charges stemming from the incident that occureed on December 30, when Searcy County Deputies were called to his ex-wife’s house where she said the threats occurred. Treat was taken into custody but later attacked a deputy and made threats while being booked into the Searcy County Jail.
Treat is facing felony charges including two counts of First-Degree Terroristic Threatening and a count of Attempted Arson. He is being held in the Searcy County Jail without bond for a bond revocation from a prior case.
