An appeal by three members of the Searcy County Election Commission results in a reprimand but no decertification.
The recap of the Arkansas State Board of Election Commission meeting from the Arkansas Advocate posted by KTLO says that two of the four allocations filed against Searcy County members Laura Gross, L.C. Ratchford and Ken Weekle were dropped while two others will result in a reprimand.
One of the charges included receiving equipment from an unapproved source, in this case equipment used to video the ballot counting which officials leased from a non-profit for $100. The other reprimanded charge was not posting a complete poll worker list eight days prior to the 2024 Election.
