Several school districts in the region have decided to dismiss classes early today due to the potential of winter precipitation later this afternoon.
Bradleyville, Branson, Forsyth, Galena, and Taneyville are among the school districts that are going with early dismissals today.
The National Weather Service expects precipitation to transition to a wintry mix and snow sometime after 2:00 this afternoon before ending this evening.
