Candidate filling period is open for school districts that host Board of Education Elections in the Spring.
Candidate filing period in those districts begins at Noon today and will run through Noon next Monday March 3rd. Candidates need to have at least 20 signatures on a petition form for eligibility to be placed on the ballot.
Voters needing to register to take part in the election need to do so by April 14 with early voting opening on May 6 with Election Day on May 13.
