Weather forecasters predict rain in the region will be scattered over the next several days.
The National Weather Service has reduced the chances of rain overall with Friday expected to see the highest probability of showers. Some thunderstorms are possible though severe weather is not expected.
Today will see widely scattered showers in the area followed by increase chances of rain Friday, a break for most on Saturday then more scattered showers on Sunday. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s to around 80 the rest of the week then slightly cooler, upper 60s to low 70s over the weekend.
