The Branson Board of Aldermen hear a presentation at their Tuesday meeting for a national motorcycle rally proposed for the downtown area in September.
Full Throttle Distillery will host the rally in conjunction with Harley Davidson that will bring the National H.O.G rally to the Lakes Region. Parts of the downtown area will host vendors and special events during the rally including a motorcycle parade. The event would bring back the annual national event put together by the Harley Davidson Owners Group (H.O.G.) that has been dormant since being suspended during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Many downtown business owners as well as Heather Herman from the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce were among the people speaking in favor of the event and the positive impact it can have in downtown and throughout the region.
The event would be scheduled from September 10-13.
The board passed a resolution of support for the event.
The full presentation and a video from the meeting can be found on the City of Branson Website.
