A Grand Jury in Oklahoma has issued indictments against a man for rape and sexual abuse of minors while he was a youth pastor in Tulsa.

A release by Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond indicates the arrest of 68-year-old Joseph Campbell on in relation to incidents that happened while Campbell was a youth pastor at Eastland Assembly of God Church in 1984. Campbell is alleged to have raped a girl age 11 or 12 in the garage of his home plus sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl at the church.

The release goes on to say that more recently, Campbell has been a pastor at Morningside Church in Blue Eye. Ozarks First reached out to the ministry, led by Jim Baker, for reaction to the arrest but were informed that they would not be making any comment.

NBC News produced investigative reports on Campbell back in the spring, which included interviews with several individuals who accused him of rape and abuse during the time of his ministry in Oklahoma and later on operating a youth camp near Elkland, Mo. The NBC News report details Campbell's ministries through the years including his involvement with Baker's television ministry out of the Morningside Complex in Blue Eye.

Campbell is currently being held in the Greene County Jail in Springfield awaiting extradition back to Oklahoma.
