One of three area restaurants nominated made it to the finish line and has been inducted into the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame.
The Ozark Café in Jasper was one of three restaurants around the state that got the induction nod after being nominated earlier this year. The Ozark Café joins Bulldog Restaurant of Bald Knob and Kream Kastle of Blytheville as this year's inductees.
According to Arkansas Heritage, the group that coordinates the annual award, restaurants are nominated to recognize long-standing restaurants that help create the food culture of the state.
Two other area restaurants made the final list of nominees this year, DeVito's Restaurant of Harrison and Daisy Queen in Marshall.
