One person dies in a traffic crash involving three vehicles south of Leslie over the weekend.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred Sunday morning at the intersection of Highway 65 and Nubbin Hill Road when a vehicle driven by 84-year-old Caroline Griffin pulled out in front of a vehicle on 65 which forced Griffin’s vehicle into a private parking lot where it hit a trailer attached to a third vehicle. Griffin died in the crash while two people in the second vehicle were taken to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock for treatment of injuries.
This is the 396th Fatality worked in traffic crashes by the Arkansas State Police in 2023.
