A person has died after police officers tried to arrest him Wednesday afternoon in Harrison.
Police Chief Chris Graddy tells the Harrison Daily Times that officers from both the Harrison Police Department and Boone County Sheriff's Office was looking for a suspect wanted on felony warrants.
Officers found the suspect at an address on Spring Street and when approached, brandished a weapon and was shot by one of the officers. The suspect later died at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. None of the officers involved were reported injured.
None of the officers were nor the fugitive were named and the incident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police Criminal Division.
